This course is ideal for beginner and intermediary painters. It will explore the theory and practical application of painting flesh / skin tones on an academic bust using a step by step process. The course aims to teach the students skills that will be transferable between different scales including wargaming miniatures. 

The course will be delivered over one day allowing time to apply the skills and an opportunity for questions and one to one coaching throughout the day when required.

What will be supplied:

• An academic bust for you to paint and take away
• Access to paints to use during the day
• Teaching materials and reference guides 

What you will need to bring with you:

• Brushes (a large brush size 2 or 3 for broad application and a smaller brush size 1 for detail work)
• Wet palette
• Light source (a daylight lamp is recommended to ensure consistent lighting throughout the day)
• Water pot
